MEET OUR VETS
Kaitlin Agel D.V.M, M.P.H
Dr. Agel graduated from the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from The University of Oklahoma and holds a Master of Public Health from Oklahoma State University. She is an Oklahoma native and moved to Texas to join The Pet Vet team in June of 2016. Her favorite aspect of practicing veterinary medicine has always been working with clients. She enjoys educating pet owners on disease prevention and management, and helping to find strategies that work best for them and their pets.
Her interest in animals began when she worked with injured and orphaned wildlife at a rehabilitation center during college. Before attending veterinary school, she taught high school chemistry and biology in Oklahoma City for four years and continued to work with animals as a veterinary technician during the summers. She has a beagle named Doc, and his hobbies include sunbathing, destroying stuffed toys, eating everything in sight, and forced cuddling.
Robert Morrow D.V.M
Dr. Morrow is a 1974 graduate of Texas A & M, College of Veterinary Medicine. He also has a BA degree in Zoology from the University of Texas at Austin. With over 42 years of experience, he has practiced and managed at Companion Animal Hospital in El Paso, Texas for 20 years before moving to Dallas in 2000. Dr. Morrow also taught anatomy and physiology at El Paso community college and has served as mentor and coach to several young veterinarians and students.
Professional interests of Dr. Morrow’s include all types of surgery, emergency medicine, allergy treatment and attempts to integrate holistic and nutritional therapies with traditional western medicine when treating pets.
Dr. Morrow is a self taught guitarist and played lead guitar for “The Cavaliers” in Austin in the mid to late 1960’s. When not playing his guitar, he also enjoys water skiing and golfing. He has an affinity for motorcycles and airplanes and currently holds a private pilots license. He and his wife Paula, a licensed social worker, enjoy riding his Harley and taking long distance road trips together. Their children are grown, leaving the only child at home a healer mix named “Tex”.
Sara Brandon D.V.M
Dr. Brandon graduated from Louisiana State University’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Texas A & M University of Commerce. She is a Texas native from Plano who returned to the area to join The Pet Vet team, and be closer to her family.
She became interested in Veterinary medicine while in high school, where she was taking agriculture classes. She worked in Veterinary clinics through college, as well as volunteered at the Dallas Zoo and Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. She has a Bengal cat named Luna who loves to talk and play.
