When you bring home a new pet finding a veterinarian that can help keep your pet healthy should be one of the first things you do. Our vets at The Pet Vet in Allen are highly trained and educated to make sure your pet gets the quality care they deserve. We know vet visits can make some pets anxious, that’s why we make sure your pet feels right at home and we do so by creating that relationship with them right off the bat. Regular vet visits are important for all pets, even when they’re perfectly healthy. Preventative and wellness care helps your furry family member stay healthy and happy.

Vet care clinic allen texas

At The Pet Vet, we take pride in providing a one-stop shop for all of your pet’s needs. Whether it be wellness check-ups, spaying, neutering or having surgery we do it all. Not only do we offer high-quality care, but we also offer convenient care with pet drop-offs, our Vitus Vet app and more! Our pricing is also posted online so you know what you’re paying for before your visit. We strive to make quality veterinary care transparent so you never have any surprises during your visits. Along with wellness visits and general exams, we also offer a variety of services, including:

Laser Therapy

Cold laser therapy is a noninvasive procedure that uses light to stimulate cell regeneration and increase blood circulation. It’s best used for post-surgical healing on sprains/strains or any inflammation.

Dental Exams and Cleanings

Just like people, animals need their teeth cleaned. Because it can be tricky for owners to clean their pets’ teeth, we offer complete dental surgical exams, cleanings, and more. Pre-anesthetic bloodwork is included in the price of our dentals. This bloodwork is a valuable tool to help our veterinarians determine if your pet is healthy enough to undergo the procedure and can identify underlying issues that could cause complications. All of our dentals include IV catheter, supportive fluid administration, post-op technician and doctor observation.

Vaccinations

Vaccinations protect dogs and cats from preventable diseases such as rabies and bordetella. We ensure our patients receive age-appropriate vaccinations as per the AVMA and AAHA Vaccination Guidelines. Our vaccinations can be given during routine wellness exams or at separate appointments if needed. We post all vaccination prices online, so you never feel surprised at the end of your visit.

Surgical Procedures

We offer spay and neuter surgeries as outpatient procedures, meaning most pets can go home the same day as their surgery. Along with spay and neuter procedures, we also offer a variety of other surgical procedures, like mass removals, Gastropexy, Splenectomy, Enucleation, and more.
