Denise Kobuszewski D.V.M
Dr. Denise Kobuszewski, known as “Dr. Denise’, is a 1977 graduate of Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine. She received a bachelor in Animal Science at Texas Tech University before moving to Kansas to attend graduate and veterinary school. After graduation, Dr. Denise owned and managed Countryside Veterinary Medical Center in Valley Falls, Kansas for 27 years before leaving practice to become a Professional Services Veterinarian for several well-known animal health companies. Her industry background includes, pet nutrition, diagnostics, flea, tick, heartworm and behavioral products. Recently, Dr. Denise was involved in the research and development of new animal health products in determining the safety and efficacy of these products.
Her love of animals and providing them optimal health care was her reason for returning to practice and is licensed in Kansas and Texas. Her medical interests are dermatology (allergies), parasitology, diagnostics, pain and behavior management.
Dr. Denise is a wine enthusiast and loves exploring new wineries including the increasing wineries in Texas. Her favorite wine is a good Pinot Noir. She is also a member of the North Dallas Cribbage club and attends cribbage tournaments. Football, basketball, and golf are her sports of choice.
Samba and Jitterbug, medium longhaired cats, makes sure she is awake in the mornings for their breakfast and their expected treats when she gets home in the evenings.
Adrienne Haley D.V.M
Dr. Haley graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Murray State University. After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Haley spent several years gaining advanced training in surgery, completing a rotating internship at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, a surgical internship with the Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center, and a research and teaching internship at the University of Missouri where she had the opportunity to assist in the teaching of veterinary students and to publish a research paper in a national veterinary journal.
After beginning a surgical residency in Connecticut, Dr. Haley made the decision to change career paths and begin work as a general practitioner. She has been practicing in the North Dallas area since 2015 and was excited to join The Pet Vet family in February 2018. Her professional interests include surgery, dentistry, pain management, and providing comprehensive patient care for chronic diseases. She is looking forward to developing long-term client and pet relationships while continuing to provide clients with education and collaboration to make the best care decisions for their pets.
In her free time Dr. Haley enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs, a rambunctious Rhodesian Ridgeback named Kora and an affectionate lab mix named Coco. She also enjoys long distance running, participating in half and full marathons with MDA Team Momentum, hiking, camping, and playing the flute in a local flute choir.
